Chapter 5. Exploring Peripherals and Expansion Cards
In this chapter, you’ll learn about different components that you can add to a computer and how you can do so. The most common way of connecting external devices is with Universal Serial Bus (USB) connections, but there are other methods such as FireWire, and a variety of miscellaneous connections are available at the rear of a computer. In addition to using available connections to add components, you can add expansion cards to give your computer additional capabilities.
