Understanding cloud storage concepts

It is quite common to use cloud storage to hold your data from the iCloud provided by Apple, Google Drive provided by Google, OneDrive provided by Microsoft, or Dropbox provided by Dropbox, Inc. The consumer versions of cloud storage allow you to have limited storage space, but offer to sell you a business version or additional storage by charging a monthly subscription fee.
