Abstract
Bioinformatics is a computer-based science, which handles data related to the biological field. Its diverse applications in the field of biology make it one of the most crucial disciplines of biological sciences. Bioinformatics techniques have wide applications in different domains of biotechnology, microbial genomics, medical- related filed, agriculture gene therapy, etc. Bioinformatics advances our understanding in the basic biological process and treatment and prevention of many genetic diseases. Modern biology and related sciences are increasingly dependent on bioinformatics. Bioinformatics techniques such as molecular dynamics simulations (MD) help to understand proteins structures at molecular level. That is not possible to understand by any other means. Thus, bioinformatics exhibits excellent potential in the future development of science and technology.
