Abstract
It comes from logic that advances in technology will play a big part in state-of-theart sensing because it will be the primary driver of the development of hardware required for applications utilizing sensing. Smart sensing has proved useful in the automotive sector, but there are still many of problems to be solved. To find complete solutions, we will need multidisciplinary teams to work together. Cities, utilities, and other service providers should all be included in standardization efforts for the sake of implementing fully integrated systems, for example, in the areas of sensor and communications infrastructures. It is inefficient to have many infrastructures (in terms of sensor systems), yet consolidating them all might be challenging. We have made an effort in bringing the recent trends in smart sensing in the automobiles. We have also proposed the way by which the drowsiness feeling of the driver is alerted to the driver to reduce the effects of road accidents.
