About the Editors
Xin Liu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Distributed Information Systems
Laboratory (LSIR) of
´
Ecole Polytechnique ed´erale de Lausanne (EPFL).
He earned his BSc from the College of Computer Science and Technology,
Jilin University, China, and his PhD from the School of Computer Engineer-
ing, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. In April 2012, he
joined EPFL and works on the project RecONCILE: Robust Online Credi-
bility Evaluation of Web Content. He also collaborates on other European
projects such as PlanetData and Wattalyst. His research interests include rec-
ommender systems, trust and reputation and social computing. His papers
have been accepted at high quality conferences and journals including the
International World Wide Web Conference (WWW), AAAI Conference on
Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), International Joint Conference on Artificial In-
telligence (IJCAI), International Conference on Information and Knowledge
Management (CIKM), International Conference on Autonomous Agents and
Multiagent Systems (AAMAS), Electronic Commerce Research and Applica-
tions (ECRA), Computational Intelligence, etc.

Anwitaman Datta joined NTU Singapore in 2006 after earning his PhD from
EPFL Switzerland. He is interested in large-scale networked distributed infor-
mation systems and social collaboration networks, particularly the reliability
and security of such complex systems. He leads the Self-* and Algorithmic
aspects of Networked Distributed Systems (SANDS) research group at NTU.

Ee-Peng Lim is a professor at the School of Information Systems of Singa-
pore Management University (SMU). He earned PhD from the University of
Minnesota, Minneapolis and BSc from the National University of Singapore.
His research interests include social networks and web mining, information
integration, and digital libraries. He is the director of the Living Analytics
Research Center and is the Lee Kuan Yew Fellow for Research Excellence
at SMU. He is currently the associate editor of several international jour-
nals including the ACM Transactions on Information Systems (TOIS), ACM
Transactions on the Web (TWeb), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data
Engineering (TKDE), Information Processing and Management (IPM), Social
Network Analysis and Mining, and IEEE Intelligent Systems. He serves on the
steering committee of the International Conference on Asian Digital Libraries
(ICADL), Pacific Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining
(PAKDD), and International Conference on Social Informatics (Socinfo).
