Technical and detailed engineering drawings are unavoidably very complex and cluttered with detailed information regardless of whether they are mechanical, production, architectural or any other form of drawing. The multitude of information in detailed drawings ranges from the outline of the drawing itself, hidden details, centre lines, dimensions, specifications, labels, etc. Although visualization of the drawing under development can be improved by zooming in and out of the drawing, this has limitations due to the sizes of CAD screens commonly in use.
