Protecting Virtual Infrastructure

Abstract

The concept of virtualization is shown to provide a means for securing computing and networking systems and infrastructure. Attention is required to secure the hypervisor for data center and wide area network applications. Virtual cybersecurity techniques include the use of containers and the segmentation of enterprises. Trends in security virtualization are outlined.
