11.1 Formation technology of the microrelief on the surface of diamond films

Despite the widespread use of IR lasers for solving technological problems [13] (laser cutting, bending, welding, spraying, etc.), the establishment of a transmission functional optics (including diffractive), able to work with high power infrared radiation (over 10–20 kW) until recently remained open, mainly due to the lack of optical materials with appropriate thermal properties and technologies of their processing.
