lined up with a mark on the printer. Such printers also allow mixed use of
single sheets and tractor feed continuous paper, using a different paper path
for the single sheets so that one single page can be fed through without even
removing the continuous paper or the tractor feed mechanism.
An older form of continuous paper is the teleprinter roll, which uses a roll
of paper with no perforations. This had the disadvantage that the paper
could move sideways in the roller
