This screen (or sub-mode of the Welcome mode) can be used to create new Qt projects using the New Project button. You've already experienced how it's done very briefly in Chapter 1, Introduction to OpenCV and Qt. You can also open any projects saved on your computer if you click on the Open Project button. There's also a list containing Recent Projects, which is very useful and acts both as a reminder of what you were working on and a shortcut to access them. There are also Sessions visible on this mode, which are some of the most interesting features of Qt Creator.
