The bar at the bottom of the Excel window is called the status bar. It displays summary
information about selected cells, for example the sum of numbers in the cells and their
average. If you right-click on the status bar, Excel displays the Customize Status Bar
menu for you to customize it. The right side of the status bar has a slider control that
you can use to control the zooming factor. To the left of the slider are three buttons that
allow you to switch between different workspace views.
