Subtotals command, it uses level 3, the highest detail level, to present the results. You
can go to lower levels of detail by clicking on the appropriate number. For example, if
we click on level 2 the worksheet will hide all rows except the rows that summarize the
information as shown in
Figure 7.21. Clicking on level 1 will even hide the averages for
each fund type and only the row with grand total averages will be shown. The Outline
Expand buttons perform similarly except that you can use these buttons to change the
levels of detail within each subgroup.
