Cost Center Accounting: Planning

Much of the theory for planning and budgeting within Cost Center Accounting will not be discussed in this section. Rather, the topics covered will enhance some basic functionality. Some general theory will inevitably come out, but it is impossible to cover every industry’s planning methodology. Additionally, the goal of this section is not to provide detailed analysis of SAP planning integration. Since the overall subject area of planning, budgeting, and forecasting could fill a book on its own, we will work our way through the basic components of cost center planning.
