Although most people think of accountability in the negative, justifying an action that was made, a decision to not act, also needs accounting. The choice to use physical conflict resolution strategies needs to be accountable to the organization, the security department, other vested stakeholders, and community members. Holding security personnel accountable for their conflict resolution decisions plays an important role in maintaining safe organizations.
