The foundation of this book was laid years ago, when we, the authors, had a terrible fight. Sibling rivalry goes all the way back to Cain and Abel. We played out our own version of the biblical story. We followed the cycle of jealousy, revenge and separation that brought us to the doorstep of a known lawyer in Tel Aviv. He anticipated mediating in what seemed to be a completely lost case. Shaking his head, he kept saying ‘the ultimate blessing in life is peace’.
