the USPTO are directed mainly to its inherently bureaucratic nature
and its eect on the patents that issue from it. As I try to remind those
who complain about the USPTO, those who have to work in a bureau-
cracy the size of the USPTO are at its mercy and have little control over
the rules it imposes on them.
No book related to legal matters would be complete without the follow-

advice. As you will soon appreciate, patenting issues can be complex and
