We have extracted detailed data on workload and geography for the simulation,
extensively photographed the location, and are improving the algorithms and
graphics. The next steps are to complete the prototype development, and test the
application in partnership with stakeholders in the training of junior doctors. This
work will begin with focus group style stakeholder meetings in order to validate
and expand upon the human factors issues highlighted above. The results of these
meetings will feed into the development of a prototype system that will be devel-
