During the interviews, generally the interviewees answered questions regarding
their own experiences and product range. Some of the interviewees indicated that
most of the medical devices manufactured in Turkey are low-tech products. There-
fore they considered these products as easy to use, since they are simple devices
anyway. On the other hand, three interviewees expressed that one of the main
advantage of MiT branded medical devices is the ‘language’ factor. This is partic-
ularly valid for devices having a visual display, where having software integrated
in Turkish language can be a preference for end-users.
