2.1 INTRODUCTION
So far we have discussed regarding holographic imaging only using coherent laser sources. But, simulatanously efforts are also made by researchers to develop holography using incoherent or partially coherent sources. In conventional holographic recording and reconstruction using laser beams, each object point, the intensity and the lateral and longitudinal locations of the object, is interferometrically recorded as a Fresnel zone plate (FZP) and stored on a holographic films like Agfa Gaevert/Kodak films.
