The Project

‘The Guts’ (so called because it lies at the centre of the site) comprises a mix of eighteen rented and shared-ownership homes, built as part of the New Islington regeneration. These homes are primarily to rehouse occupants of Manchester’s now-demolished Cardroom Estate. Ten former Cardroom residents live on Weybridge Road; seven properties are shared ownership for people not from Cardroom, and one is an owner-occupier from Cardroom.
