According to Wikipedia.com, Web 2.0 is the commonly used term to describe various social media applications that help make the Internet more interactive and enhance the user experience.

Now, just because the Web 2.0 term was coined only a few years ago and social media marketing is all the current rage doesn’t mean that these are new online marketing strategies.
