Evolving the Architecture

Abstract

This chapter focuses on how Continuous Architecture is applied to the topic of design. We call this chapter Evolving the Architecture. The chapter covers three topics that are critical for evolving the architecture from the perspective of Continuous Architecture. We start with architectural decisions. We define what we mean by an architectural decision and present our views on how to approach architectural decisions. The second topic is prioritization. A common challenge in product management in general and architecture in particular is the ability to link key features to the business drivers.
