Continuous Architecture in the Enterprise
Abstract
In this chapter, we provide an overview of how Continuous Architecture can help address the challenges faced by architects at an enterprise scale. We start off by providing an overview of the enterprise context and sample antipatterns by referring to some cornerstone literature on this topic. We then focus on collaboration and communication, which is key to being a successful architect. We then discuss the importance of having a common language and introduce an approach to creating a common language. We then look at the topic of decision making in the enterprise and present an approach to governance. Finally, we address the topic of an architecture process at the enterprise scale.
