I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Backing up certificates and provisioning profiles
A critical part of working with certificates and provisioning profiles is to ensure you always back up your developer profile, consisting of those important assets. If you happen to lose your certificate, you will need to create a new certificate and remove any broken/invalid certificates, a task which is certainly frustrating, as we just explained. To export your developer profile, do the following:
- In Xcode, go to Preferences.
- Select Accounts.
- Click the gear icon on the lower-left and select Export Developer Accounts…, from the modal/pop-up menu, as shown in the following screenshot:
- To reimport your developer account, you simply go to the same screen and select Import Developer Accounts… ...
