I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Map/Location
By enabling the Maps capability, you are able to create navigational-like routing apps and access greater and more persistent location information from the user.
Enable Maps, as well as the various modes of routing specific to your app, in the Xcode Capabilities tab, as shown in the following screenshot:
The modes of routing available to you include:
- Airplane
- Bike
- Bus
- Car
- Ferry
- Pedestrian
In order to support routing directions, you are required to perform additional configuration steps, which you can learn more about by consulting the Location and Maps Programming .
