Abstract

Agriculture is one of the most important sectors contributing around 16% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in India. The majority of the land that was earlier used for the cultivation of crops is now depleting and is now replaced by an industrial cover and by urban settlements or other forms of business prospects. The lack of information and use of traditional methods, farmers had to rely upon weather condition and quality of fertilizers to expect good productivity of crops, but due to uncertainty in weather condition and other factors in which growth of crops depend the production of crops was not uniform and are not able to meet the present consumption requirement.
