Abstract
In the field of computer vision, the identification of an object offers evolving and challenging difficulties. Visual object identification is a common and automatic biological visual function for humans, but it is challenging for computers. Object recognition is a significant difficulty in computer vision because of the substantial diversity in images of objects in the same class under different viewing conditions. Object recognition has a wide range of uses, including in the fields of biometrics, defense, robotics, visual surveillance, and driving assistance.
