CONCLUSION
The coronavirus pandemic has been a big shock for ‘business as usual’ and for the entire world. Words like ‘pandemic’ all of a sudden became central to discussions and the life of people changed completely. Though COVID-19 may not have been the first pandemic the world has seen, it is the first major global disaster humanity has encountered in the ‘computer age’. In this book, we have focused on a few specific aspects of the coronavirus including (a) Sentiment Analysis of Coronavirus-Related News Flow, (b) news sentiment versus the real impact on markets and (c) the spread of the coronavirus across countries and the associated news sentiment in these geographies.
