INTRODUCTION
In the 21st century, in particular, the pace of technological change has been overwhelming, and there are very few areas where it is more visible in than ‘data’. Especially over the last decade, there have been two important developments in the area of ‘information’ or ‘data’. The first of these developments is a massive increase in the quantum of news. For some people, it is general news. For others, it is their social media feed. For several people, it is the information on specific areas such as key political developments, stock markets or sports. It does not matter which category of information consumption you belong to, but you would have noticed that the quantum of news has increased to unimaginable quantities.
