All of the authors who wrote case examples for this book refer to a common set of methods and tools known as the Advantage Way system. This system was created by Advantage Performance Group (APG) and is APG’s proprietary version of High Impact Learning (HIL) Systems, a conceptual framework, methods, and tools developed initially by Robert O. Brinkerhoff (see Brinkerhoff and Apking 2001). The system helps training leaders design and implement learning interventions that are certain to help training achieve increased business impact.
