Chapter 8. Events, Buttons, and Multi-State Objects
Sometimes it’s not the animation that makes a document engaging for the reader. Interactivity is just as important. So instead of just sitting back and watching an animation, the reader gets involved by clicking a mouse or tapping a finger.
In this chapter, we’ll look at how to set the events so that the reader can prompt an object to move by clicking on the object itself. We’ll create an interactive game using hidden animated objects. We’ll see how to add a second event to replay an animation. We’ll also learn how buttons can be used to play animations with special features not found in ordinary events.
