Making money selling your online course will depend on many factors such as the demand for your course, the price you charge, marketing, and value perceived and received from users. As a course designer and deliverer, you determine the course value by conducting market research, planning the marketing strategies, building an online community, and setting the right price.

Online courses can bring some creators tens of thousands of dollars per month, but others may only earn a few hundred dollars. As an example, Rob Percival created “Complete Web Development Course” on Udemy, and with over half a million students, it is estimated he has made almost $3 million dollars.
