BETTER ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT FOR FACULTY

The new ways of teaching described here make a real difference in both student learning and teacher satisfaction. However, to have any chance of making these changes into a widespread reality, faculty will need better support from the various organizations in higher education that shape the context within which they work.

In this chapter, I have two audiences in mind: faculty members who are ready to take on a leadership role and work for organizational change and the people who are already decision makers in various organizations in higher education.
