Group Policy can only take you so far. That's because while Group Policy appears to be a security mechanism, it's not. It's a delivery mechanism. Sure, it can deliver security settings, and that's awesome. But to achieve true security and manageability on the Desktop we need more than just Group Policy alone.
In Chapter 1, we deployed our Desktop in an automated fashion.
In Chapters 2 and 3, we set up roaming profiles and redirected folders and offline files to help us manage our user's computer-hopping experiences.
