Develop an Effective Implementation Process
Purpose of Step
The purpose of Step 9 is to incorporate adopted strategies throughout the organization and its relevant organizational systems. The mere creation of a strategic plan is not enough. In the best of circumstances the plan will embody an agreement about what to do, how, where, when, why, and by whom, negotiated among and committed to by the members of the coalition necessary for guiding and protecting implementation efforts. But for the plan to be brought to life you also need an effective implementation process and set of action plans.
