After a decade of hotly contested competition for Internet supremacy, the results are in. Through its clever application of Creative Execution, Google has not only become the dominant Internet-search provider, but the quality of its websites like Google Maps and Google News is attracting more visitors than Yahoo!, Microsoft, and AOL. According to comScore, which ranks the Top 50 U.S. Web Properties every month, the market share for Internet search in the United States as of December 2011 stood as follows:

#1—Google, with 65.9 percent
#2—Microsoft sites, with 15.1 percent
#3—Yahoo! sites, with 14.5 percent
#4—Ask Network, with 2.9 percent
#5—AOL, with 1.6 percent
