If I had a nickel for every time a student in one of my workshops complained about their rickety tripod, well, I’d have a lot of nickels!
Seriously folks, a tripod is one of the most important pieces of photographic gear, and a good one will help you to avoid frustration and will last almost indefinitely. It makes sense to buy a good tripod in the first place. I can’t emphasize this enough.
I could tell you stories about people whose gear has been destroyed or damaged due to inadequate tripods.
