I’ve worked with hundreds of students and authored a half-dozen books, and usually, if asked where to begin, I would say “Jump in!” And you can certainly jump into this book anywhere—on any page—and find something that will interest or intrigue you.
But there was a rhythm to how I originally conceived this material and how I think it will work best for you, the reader.
The strategy is . . . to begin at the beginning! The chapters here are laid out in a natural order that makes sense. One follows logically after the other.
