Introduction

One of the most important byproducts of the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (“GLOBE”) project was the identification and measurement of a set of cultural dimensions that could be used to facilitate analysis of the relationship between the cultural ­dimensions associated with a society and the preferences and dislikes of that society with respect to the attributes and behaviors of its leaders.
