Chapter 19Navy to the Core

Sam, Maggie, and I made our way down the Florida coastline. The compass had tipped, trading the east bearing along the Panhandle to a southern one along the protected western coast. We were thrilled with the passage, grinning ear to ear, but we needed showers after our twenty-hour passage.
