In the first two months of our loop, we covered wide industrial and rural rivers, canals, bays, the ICW, and the open Gulf. The marinas had a sameness to them, recreational hubs for smallish towns. As we approached Miami, all of that changed. Though it barely cracks the fifty most populous cities in the United States, it is grand, especially from the water. We were about to experience our first urban marina experience. I pulled up the PDF with the mooring field identifying our ball while Maggie drove us in.
