Special Interfaces for Special Tasks
The methods described in the previous section apply to the typical SAS task—a task that has the job of creating a SAS program to run. However, what if you don't want to generate a SAS program? What if you want a task that performs a different operation that involves something different from a SAS program or in addition to a SAS program?
Fortunately, the custom task APIs provide hooks for special tasks. You can use ISASTaskExecution to provide greater control over how your task works.
