App Catalog and the SharePoint Store
SharePoint has always been an extensible platform that allows it to be customized in various ways over the product’s lifetime. Mechanisms for deploying vary, from injecting code directly into SharePoint’s HTML code and packaging apps as features to deploying applications through App Catalog.
