1. Introduction

Ball end magnetorheological finishing (BEMRF) is a nanofinishing technology developed by Singh et al. [1] at the beginning of this decade. It is a variant of magnetic field assisted finishing processes that make use of smart magnetorheological polishing fluid to smoothen the roughness peaks in a controlled manner [2].
