OVERCOMING HURDLES ON YOUR INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP JOURNEY
As an inclusive leader, you are going to face resistance on many different fronts during this journey. You simply are not going to get everyone to support your efforts. In fact, if you can get 80 percent of the people to support you, in our experience you’re doing great!
Resistance will manifest itself in various ways: getting half the budget dollars requested; receiving no dedicated support from the learning and development team as you try to integrate ID&E into existing training; or hearing perpetual excuses for deprioritizing ID&E program support, the go-to being the crisis du jour.
