Summary

This chapter covered a lot of basics in a short amount of time, including a brief course on the basic premise of programming and algorithms (input, process, output) and an overview of video games and what game programming involves. You then learned how to create variables using the different data types supported by DB. If you ever need to refresh your memory about data types, this is a good chapter to refer to in the future, especially if you have a question about the range of the data types (such as 0 to 255 for a byte).
