Summary

This chapter explored the subject of playing movies for the introduction to a game and for cut-scenes within a game. DB supports the AVI format most common on Windows PCs. It is capable of playing any Indeo, Cinepak, or similar codec in an AVI file. This chapter also showed you how to position a movie on the screen, how to move the movie during playback, and how to change the size of the movie by scaling the output rectangle.
