Travel back with me to the year 1978.
The New York Yankees win the World Series, Montreal takes the Stanley Cup, Borg is the Wimbledon champion, and Argentina wins the World Cup. Annie Hall wins the Oscar for Best Picture, You Light Up My Life wins the Oscar for best song, and the record of the year is Hotel California by The Eagles. We can reminisce on fashion (and yes, I did own a pair of bell bottoms) and politics (Peanuts, anybody?), but instead, let's look at the world of technology in 1978.
