Integrated Corporate Data
Abstract
Corporate data is data looking across the corporation. Organization that have applications do not have corporate data. ETL is technology that is used to achieve corporate data. ETL transforms data. ETL does not merely copy data from one environment to another. The transformation occurs for metadata, actual values of data, structures of data, and so forth. The result of transforming data is a data warehouse. The granular data in the data warehouse allows data to be examined in many different perspectives.
