Access queries
Abstract:
Queries extract data from Microsoft Access databases based on specified criteria. Filtering and sorting also allow certain data to display. Joining fields across tables allows for more complicated queries.

Sorting in Access
Sorting in Access is generally of two kinds: ascending and descending. Depending on whether it is numeric or textual data, the sort will be A–Z or Z–A, or smallest to largest or largest to smallest. There are two ways to sort in Access:
Select the field > Home > Sort & Filter > choose Ascending, Descending, or Clear All Sorts.
